The TRP pistols, inspired by the Professional 1911 utilized by the FBI’s Hostage Rescue Team, are meticulously crafted to achieve both functionality and aesthetic appeal. The TRP Classic is designed with a focus on combat-oriented features.

This model incorporates elements typically found in custom firearms, including 20 line-per-inch (LPI) checkering for enhanced grip; top slide serrations to minimize glare and facilitate quicker sight alignment; a hammer-forged stainless steel, match-grade barrel; and a two-piece magwell that is both extended and flared to promote rapid reloads. The VZ Hydra series grips feature an aggressive texture that ensures a secure hold without causing discomfort against the skin or clothing. Additionally, it includes an ambidextrous thumb safety, a skeletonized hammer that reduces weight and improves lock time, and the Springfield Armory Gen 2 Speed Trigger, which offers both enhanced performance and striking aesthetics. The sight system consists of a Tritium three-dot configuration, with the front sight housing a single tritium vial and the rear sight containing two, designed with serrations to reduce glare and enable swift target acquisition.
