The Ruger Super Blackhawk revolvers are designed with dual chambering, enabling the .44 Magnum models to accommodate factory .44 Special cartridges. They incorporate a patented transfer bar mechanism along with a loading gate interlock, offering exceptional safety against unintentional discharges. The revolver features a traditional western-style grip that is both comfortable and promotes natural pointing, regardless of grip style. Additionally, it boasts a cold hammer-forged barrel, an adjustable rear sight, and a fixed front ramp sight equipped with a replaceable red ramp insert. Integral mounts are precision-machined directly onto the solid-steel barrel rib, ensuring a stable mounting surface.
