The Glock 22 is equipped with Glock’s Safe Action system, ensuring a uniform trigger pull from the initial shot to the final one. This pistol incorporates three independently functioning mechanical safeties within its fire control system.

It boasts an optimal grip angle, an ambidextrous slide stop lever, and a flared magazine well. The slide’s surface treatment enhances its hardness, significantly reducing wear and tear while also providing corrosion resistance. The matte finish minimizes light reflection, and the extractor functions as a loaded chamber indicator, adhering to regulations in certain states by visually and physically signaling the presence of a cartridge in the chamber.

The MOS variant features a slide that has been precision machined to accommodate a mounting system for widely used optic sights. With various adapter plates available, users can swiftly and effortlessly attach miniature red dot sights to the rear of the Gen5 GLOCK slide.
