Springfield Armory takes great pride in commemorating fifty years of producing the renowned M1A, a semi-automatic version of the historic M14 rifle. Each rifle is elegantly housed in a display crate made from eastern white pine.

This model features an engraved operating rod marked 1 of 1974, highlighting its significant historical status; it also boasts a hand-selected walnut stock adorned with a distinguished medallion celebrating the 50th anniversary. The 50th Anniversary M1A is equipped with a flash hider that includes an integral bayonet lug, designed to accommodate the historically accurate M6 bayonet.

Included with the rifle are a reproduction of the M14 Army Technical Manual, an M1A cleaning kit, a signed certificate of authenticity that bears a matching serial number, a unique commemorative coin, and a classic olive drab green cotton sling.
